After high school, I pursued education hoping to build a frontline healthcare career. However, I soon realized that roles requiring firsthand exposure to patient trauma would be emotionally challenging for me. Yet, my passion for healthcare never wavered.
Throughout my journey, I developed a versatile skill set applicable across industries. Still, I often felt a sense of unfulfilled purpose and encountered barriers limiting my growth. I have experience as a Medical Reimbursement Specialist, Provider Relations Representative, and in the Billing Department handling customer service and collections, as well as in Patient Access managing prior authorizations, eligibility verification, and insurance discrepancies — all positions that brought meaning and fulfillment. Currently, I serve as a Revenue Cycle Specialist, further deepening my healthcare expertise.
Recognizing my true passion, I strategically transitioned into the virtual assistant industry, specializing as an independent contractor providing executive and administrative support tailored to healthcare. This is where I thrive and currently hold four nationally recognized certifications.
